CO-FLAGSHIP / BUILDROOM ADVANCED

More machines.
More ambition.
Same control.

The high-capacity Buildroom direction: heavier local models, deeper engineering workflows and governed worker coordination. Built for operators who need more than a bigger chat window.

Buildroom ADVANCED — engineering with direction

THE INTERACTIVE WORKBENCH

A little direction.
A different possibility.

Choose a way of working. Then explore how the idea moves from intention to something a person can inspect. Every view is an illustration; no AI task is running here.

Illustrative motion · human direction remains at the center.

A small set of components defines the scope; the review gate stays ahead of them.

An idea becomes inspectable work.

An illustrative engineering workflow: define a bounded change, assemble contributions, and keep review between a proposal and its use.

  1. ScopeName the outcome, constraints, and files that belong to the task.
  2. AssembleBring bounded contributions together into a proposed change.
  3. ReviewInspect the proposed change and relevant checks before accepting it.
  4. HandoffKeep the change, the review, and its evidence understandable to the next person.

More perspectives. Deliberate judgment.

A concept study of NORTHSTAR’s Distributed Inference Cognition™: specialist regions advise, the executive core arbitrates, and human purpose sets the direction.

  1. FrameGive the question a purpose, a boundary, and a useful form of answer.
  2. InvestigateBring relevant perspectives into the question without treating agreement as proof.
  3. ChallengeExpose disagreements, assumptions, and gaps before drawing a conclusion.
  4. SynthesizeBring the reasoning together with its uncertainty and provenance intact.
Explore NORTHSTAR

Give an idea a useful shape.

Explore a design workflow through the Mainely Code family: start with intent, establish structure, and refine the result around the person using it.

  1. IntentStart with the audience and the job the experience needs to do.
  2. StructureSet the relationships, hierarchy, and route through the experience.
  3. WeaveBring content and interaction into the same coherent composition.
  4. RefineCheck clarity, accessibility, and the details that make the experience usable.

Built for the heavy work

Capacity without blind authority.

LOCAL CAPACITY

Heavier model workflows.

Developing larger-model workflows for hardware with the required memory and compute headroom. Qualification is specific to the profile and machine.

DRONE SWARM

Governed coordination.

Coordinate approved workers with owner controls, availability and bounded work—not unrestricted access to other machines.

OPERATOR VISIBILITY

Same runtime. More ways in.

The command-line surface follows the same edition, approval, job and receipt truth as the desktop. It is not an authorization shortcut.

Powerful AI. For the People.

You do not need to wait to start.

FREE and LITE are available now. Get comfortable with local models, the workflow and your hardware before stepping up.

MAINELY CODE / PRACTICAL GUIDANCE

A more capable agentic coder still needs clear authority.

Buildroom ADVANCED is the engineering co-flagship in active development and release qualification. Its direction combines higher-capacity local model workflows with governed worker coordination for operators whose work outgrows a single coding conversation.

Scope is part of the engineering work.

A useful coordination request identifies the project, allowed work, owner controls, available workers and acceptance criteria. Adding machines should not silently broaden access. The operator needs to see what was attempted, what evidence returned and what remains unresolved.

Capacity does not establish readiness.

Model qualification is specific to the profile and hardware. Worker availability, permitted operations and supported workflows must be checked against an actual qualified release. The command-line surface follows the same edition, approval, job and receipt truth as the desktop; it is not an authorization shortcut.

There is no public ADVANCED download or launch date on this site. Worker packages are not promoted as standalone Store apps. For a currently available local AI coding app, compare FREE and LITE, or contact Mainely Code about the ADVANCED direction.
